Le Centre Culturel La Mine D’Art de Kirkland Lake est heureux de lancer la programmation de sa sixième édition du Festival Autochtone de Larder Lake Ontario qui se tiendra le 30-31 mai 2009. Nous souhaitons la bienvenue à toutes les différentes communautés de la région (anglophones, francophones et autochtones). Des activités pour toute la famille aura lieu tout au long de la journée.
Parmi les activités prévues, le festival a la chance de recevoir cette année, l'artiste Sylvain Plante qui fera un spectacle en soirée suivi d'une danse avec orchestre. De plus, il y aura un concours amateur en après-midi et en soirée ouvert à tous dont $360.00 en prix.
Pendant la journée il y aura des activités pour adultes et enfants avec des prix de participation. Il y aura également un volet exposition. Nous aurons le plaisir de découvrir des œuvres d’artistes autochtones. Nous aurons une dégustation de bannock (pain amérindien) en avant-midi.

The Cultural Centre La Mine D’Art of Kirkland Lake is happy to issue the programming of the sixth edition of Aboriginal Festival of Larder Lake Ontario who will be held on may 30-31 2009. We are welcoming every communities of different culture (Francophone, Anglophone, Aboriginal) to join us and share their way of life. The festival will include activities for the whole family, dance, and concerts, indoor and outdoor activities.
This year we will host the artist Sylvain Plante who will perform during the evening followed by a dance with live music. Also, we will have a talent show in the afternoon and evening with $360 in prizes.
During the day, there will be many activities for children and adults with participation prizes. Many Aboriginal Artists will exhibit their works and share their passions. A Bannock tasting will take place in the morning.
Free admission. Come and join us for a fun day!
